The Freestyle Divers Academy has a single objective when delivering diving education: to produce highly competent divers in a fun and safe environment. Our goal is not to be the cheapest on the market, but you can be certain that when you pass a course with us, you will be fully trained to enjoy the wonders of our beautiful underwater environment. 

What is different about the way we train divers?

We have everything in-house. Our education team is comprised of highly skilled instructors, instructor trainers and a regional examiner. All our instructors teach for multiple agencies and have decades of international teaching experience.

We teach all levels of student, from beginners to advanced technical divers. This deep experience has allowed us to develop many fun and sophisticated learning techniques for key skills such as precision buoyancy, trim and propulsion, starting from your very first course. 

Our instructors can teach in multiple languages, including Arabic, English, Russian, French, Afrikaans, Japanese and Tagalog.

Top class training facilities

We selected our diving center locations to ensure we can deliver the best learning experience.

Our location at the Radisson Blu Resort in Dibba Fujairah (UAE) is the largest facility on the East Coast of the UAE. Inside the center, you will enjoy an air-conditioned 3 meter indoor training pool, ideal for training in the hot summer months. We have two large classrooms as well as a Marine Biology science area, indoor showers and changing areas as well as spacious areas to relax between dives. 

Our center in Khasab (Musandam Oman), is a large two floor facility located in the Atana Musandam hotel, with two spacious classrooms, a dedicated room for photographers and videographers as well a divers lounge and terrace. Boat access is direct from the divers terrace via a dedicated pontoon.

We also operate speed boats from Dibba (Oman) to explore the East Coast of the Musandam peninsular. 

A broad choice of equipment

Our broad range of equipment means that you can learn to dive whichever way you prefer, which is the reason for our signature hashtag #diveYOURstyle. Single tanks, double tanks, sidemount, DPVs (scooters), we have it all, right through to support for CCR diving. We also have a special range of equipment for kids, including smaller tanks. 

We operate a fleet of seven boats that ensure we always have capacity to take you to the best destinations during your training courses at the Academy. All our boats are fitted with the required safety equipment, including O2 and a full medical kit and our boat drivers have been trained in Emergency First Response. 

As you would expect, we have taken the maximum insurance cover available for boats, passengers, divers and staff.
