Diving with a purpose. That’s what we are all about. Marine and Darryl are both active divers and instructors and we have shaped Freestyle Divers to support the way we like to dive. High quality education and training, equipment for all types of diving, mixed-gases, no shortcuts and safety always comes first. But most importantly, we do this for the thrill of exploration and discovery of our underwater world. We believe strongly in inclusivity and welcome divers from all training agencies to join our project teams. Our goal is to create a learning environment where our community can become awesome divers, as well as building skills in science, exploration, human factors and underwater imaging. To promote this goal, we regularly launch exciting initiatives to explore and protect our ocean environment and our ambition is to share its wonders with the broadest community possible. A Different Approach to Teaching
We train our students in horizontal trim and neutral buoyancy from the start to produce highly competent divers - our certification cards are fully merited! The Freestyle Divers Academy is committed to building long term coaching relationships you can rely on to grow your underwater skills.
Freestyle Divers Project Teams
We are goal oriented. We build teams and organize exciting projects. Whether you want to explore to find new reefs or wrecks, learn how to protect our oceans, create new coral reefs or document our underwater enviroment through beautiful underwater images, you can be sure we have a project for you to join.
Maximum 4 Students per Instructor
It's always safety first at Freestyle Divers, closely followed by top quality training. We believe in creating highly proficient divers, which requires a personal touch.
