Chad discovered his passion for diving when he was only 12 years old after completing his PADI Junior Open Water Course in Sodwana bay, South Africa. As soon as he finished school, he returned to Sodwana Bay to be underwater full-time, and within 2 years he became a successful PADI Staff Instructor.

Chad continued his diving career at Aliwal Shoal, where he learned to dive with, and safely handle, a large variety of sharks; from the sweet Oceanic Black Tips and docile Raggies, to the massive Tiger Sharks and cunning Zambezis. He was often described as the calmest diver in town and diving with him is a guarantee to see a whole new world of exciting marine life; whether big or small.
Chad now continues to share his love for ocean exploration at Freestyle Divers as a PADI and a RAID instructor, and discovering the world of Technical Diving.
