PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

4,000 AED

The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course is the second part of the Instructor Development Course, where, once you have mastered the teaching techniques, you apply them to each specific course you will be able to teach after you pass the PADI Instructor Exam. The course contains some segments that can be covered through the eLearning facility to decrease classroom time and focus more on the practical aspects of teaching, (not necessary if you have covered this during your AI course). This is also the only segment you would be required to cover if you are crossing over from another training agency.

Freestyle difference: Teaching diving is a lot more than passing an exam, we commit to let you co-teach (and get certification credit) after your exam to make sure you will leave our facility with not only the credentials, but also (and more importantly) the experience required to go and teach on your own, wherever your diving career takes you.

Key facts:

  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • Medical certificate by a physician required, liability release to fill up before the activity.
  • At least 4 days.
  • Equipment you need: At this level of commitment to professional diving, we would expect you to have at least your own BCD, regulators, mask, snorkel and fins.
  • Price: AED 4000 + PADI materials + PADI membership
