Many divers describe a feeling of serenity or relaxation when diving in the still night waters. Others may use words like “exciting” or “thrilling”. The marine life and behaviors that can be witnesses during a night dive is a little different to that of a day dive. Some species are a lot more active whilst others will be resting and some seem to appear out of nowhere. It is a fantastic change, even on a familiar site. While taking the Night diver specialty, you will learn about these changes and how to communicate efficiently in the dark. Furthermore we will advise you on what types of torches are recommended and how to maintain them properly.
