The PADI Assistant Instructor course is when you start learning about how the PADI system works on the Instructor side. This can be taken as a stand-alone course before the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course or you can alternatively take both together in the PADI IDC. You will learn the teaching techniques used on every course and how they relate to different teaching environments. These include the classroom, the pool and the open water. The course contains some segments that can be covered through the eLearning facility to decrease classroom time. This allows you to focus more on the practical aspects of teaching.
If you elect to only take the AI course, we will add a few workshops dedicated to supervising and teaching children.
